Prayer Requests

It is foolish to think that anything can be done for the Kingdom of God without spending time with Him in prayer. We would be honored that you would join us in prayer. I asked Pastor Kennedy in India if he would send us requests from IGL:

We are all eagerly waiting for your team’s presence among us. I herewith give some important prayer requests

1. Pray for the CGC summer program we have target to reach four hundred thousand children all over India under ‘Vision 2000’ network. The harvest is plenty. We are in great need of materials to be produced due the financial recession prevailing all over the world we have now produced materials for four hundred thousand children only

2. During this summer program especially eight thousand leaders and thirty two thousand teachers will be involving in this ministry. Pray that God would provide them good health and wisdom to carry out this great mission

3. The Leaders training will be conducted in three places this year. In Hyderabad, Pune and Salem in which IGL is going to train nearly 225 to 250 Leaders and the teachers training will be conducted in about 130 centers all over India in which nearly IGL is going to train ten thousand teachers. Pray for the journey mercies and for the good health of the teams. Pray that God
would meet the needed resources.

4. During the month of May and June the special vocation children program will be conducted in about eight thousand churches all over India. Pray that God would bless the children those who attend the program. Pray that God would raise good children those who can shine in this world as stars. Pray that the hearts of children open for the gospel.

5. Pray that those children who come to this program regularly attend follow up programs so that they grew in the knowledge of God and also pray for their family.

Might I also add for our team:
- Health and strength prior to departure and during the two weeks we are there
- As we finish our final preparations, we would hear the Holy Spirit telling us what the people need to learn and how to present it so it speaks into their culture and not our own.
- In light of the difficulties Christians are facing in India, we praise God that we got our visas. May we find favor at customs upon arrival

The Team

Just three weeks away from our departure. It is exciting to see things come together - especially the fabulous team God has put together. We each come with our unique strengths and gifts that I believe will equip our Indian brothers and sisters in phenomenal ways. The team consists of:

BETH HOOVER: Beth is a Creative Programming Director at Rolling Hills Community Church. She has a gift in engaging her audience into the lesson she is teaching. She truly does exhibit the joy of the Lord. She befriended everyone last year and they are looking forward to her return this year.

DAVE & JUNE PRIVETT: The Privett's are master puppeteers and have traveled throughout the world reaching and teaching people of all ages with the Gospel. Check out their website for more of what God has them doing for His Kingdom: www.playsoup.com

GARY STRUDLER: Gary is the Children's Pastor at Rolling Hills Community Church and has done several trips abroad to equip leaders in developing countries so they can reach their children for Jesus Christ.

JEFF VANDENHOEK: Previously, Jeff was a Camp Director where the children who came out to camp became his "guinea pigs" for him to become very proficient in experiential learning. Now an instructor at George Fox University in the Business Administration department, Jeff creates leadership learning labs for his students to experience real life learnings. He brings a very much needed dimension for the participants to learn about Godly leadership.
